The
new "Flair Classic Scale" model - PT-17 Boeing Stearman,
1:4.3 scale will be available in October, price details to be announced.
A sigh of relief after a lot of hard work you can now see that the
Stearman is finished and has also flown.
We
have now completed our flight trials using a Laser 150 and I can
tell you that the model flies just like the real thing - it is slow
and smooth. We have a good reputation for models that fly well and
this one is definately going to be just as good.
I am working on the drawings and minor design adjustments also to
ensure that this kit is the best we have produced so far.
We expect to put the kit on the market during October, (there will
be some midnight oil to achieve this). At this time we cannot suggest
a firm price, but again, we are determined to offer great value
for money. Just ask any of our Tiger Moth, ASK8 or Yak 55 owners
and they will convince you if you have never built one of the Flair
"Classic Scale" series before that they are superb to
build and fly.

Stearman after its first public display day at Old Warden, 21st
