Gibbs Guide to Lithium Batteries

Andrew Gibbs 'User Friendly Guides' have been given a new name; simply Gibbs Guides! Andrew has aready had success with his User Friendly Guides to the Super Nova 250 charger, (see our review here) and the NiCad & NiMh battery gudie.

Andrew has now just released the long-awaited Gibbs Guide to Lithium Batteries, which covers Li-lon and Li-Poly types. This 44-page publication addresses the safety aspects of lithium batteries in considerable detail, and contains a wealth of essential safety information, which could prevent a battery fire. It is also packed with invaluable information on charging, discharging, 'C' limits, connectors, balancing, hints and tips and much more.

The guide is clearly written and illustrated in his usual user-friendly style, and could be considered essential reading for the user of lithium batteries. It is priced at £7.75.
