Britain's
leading web magazine has awarded 'Flying Sites' top marks in their
latest issue!
Internet
Magazine's October issue, published today, has featured Flying Sites
on their Site Surveyor pages. Lance Concannon wrote a glowing report
in his regular 'Home Improvements' column.
Here's
what he has to say about Flying Sites"...it's a fairly non-commercial
affair run by and for enthusiasts. This makes the highly professional
construction of the site all the more impressive. Companies with
big budgets and access to professional design agencies have produced
far worse sites than this one."
The
article goes on to say "The design is simple and slick, the
colours Peter has chosen work well together, and finding your way
around the copious amounts of content is easy."
Lance
makes a suggestion that we should add a keyword search to find specific
items on our site. But he was particularly impressed with our "cunningly
embedded remotely hosted discussion board." For
the web savvy this uses the apparently little used <IFRAME>
tag. Lance recommends that readers could learn more about this tag
from their own online tutorials!
So
to round up, Lance has awarded four stars out of five for design,
and a top five out of five stars for content! A rare award indeed
if you are a regular reader of Internet Magazine.
Internet
Magazine costs £3.50 and is available at all good newsagents
and supermarkets.
